Thankful

We have so much to be thankful for...God, our family, our health, our home, friends, freedom, Jerry's job which has allowed me to be home with our kids, and so much more! We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving spent with those you love. We're looking forward to a beautiful day here in AZ. It's going to be 80 degrees! My family is coming over here for dinner a little later. Here are my little pilgrim and Indian boys.

They even talked me into being their "Indian mother" this morning. We danced to Native American music and even hunted for a turkey to eat for dinner. Brody's holding our catch of the day! Never a dull moment in this house!

Santa!!!

Yesterday we went to the Bass Pro Shop to see Santa! The boys were so excited!! They had all kinds of FREE activities for the kids. Love it!
Brody asked for anything Star Wars related and Wyatt asked for Scooby Doo stuff. This morning Wyatt woke up and asked "Where's my Scooby Doo stuff"? I love the way Brody's looking at Santa...so precious.

Mama & Papa had never been to Bass Pro Shop before so they met us there to check it out. Everyone had an amazing time!

Here's my mom and Wy doing some shooting practice. Papa is giving the pointers.

After lunch we headed outside and the boys HAD to have their picture taken with this guy. They got a kick out of seeing the fish catch the man and tie him up. So funny!

Last game!

Today was Brody's last game of the season. He got to play at the Peoria Sports Complex. When he saw the size of the stadium he said "Whoa". They even put each players name on the real scoreboard. Very cool!
In this picture he's in the pitchers position. He had a fantastic experience being a Pirate!

Cool picture of the team in a real dug out.

Brody was so happy to get another trophy! Here he is with Coach Eddie!

This spring I'm thinking about putting Brody and Wyatt on a kickball team together. Since it's ages 3-5 this would probably be their only chance EVER to be on the same team. We'll see. For now, we're ready to have our Saturdays back.

Friends

Brody was so fortunate to have some of his BEST friends on his tee ball team this season. Here he is with his buddies at their last practice.

On your mark, get set, GO!

Our really good friend Eddie who lives across the street was Brody's coach. He did an awesome job with the boys!
Thanks Coach Eddie!!!!

Thanksgiving Program/Feast

How cute is my little Pilgrim boy?? Brody's preschool had a Thanksgiving Program/Feast last week. Brody did such an AWESOME job!
Here was Brody's big speaking part to the story "The Little Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie". Here he is putting the pie into the little old lady's tummy.

Here he is digging his hole in the ground to hide his acorns. Silly boy!

We all loved having Mimi, Mama, and Papa there too! For lunch all of the parents signed up to bring in a traditional Thanksgiving dish. It was delicious!!! We're so thankful for the many blessings in our lives.

Veterans Day Parade!

My mom, dad, and I took the boys to the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Phoenix yesterday. It sure was a warm day (around 90 degrees) with so much thanks to give for all of our Veterans. Here are the boys tooting their horns right before the parade started. Thanks Mama and Papa!
We were in awe by the size of this American flag. We're so proud of my dad who served in the Air Force (as a weather observer) from 1956-1960 and for Jerry's dad who served in the Army (security military police) during the Vietnam War from 1968-1970.

God bless all of the brave men and women who have fought for our freedom.

Brody kept yelling out "Thank you for our freedom"!!! He would wave his American flags frantically hoping to be seen by a real solider. He LOVED seeing all of the tanks and other military vehicles drive past us.

This was our favorite blow up. Soooo cool! It went right over our heads as it past by. What an amazing day! Be sure to thank a vet any chance you get. We're so proud to be Americans!

The Phoenix Zoo

We had a fabulous day at the zoo yesterday with Jerry's dad, his wife Ronnie, his sister Tammy, and her little boy Devin. The boys all absolutely LOVED seeing all of the animals. We can't wait to go back again!

Family Picnic

On Sunday we met up with family members at McCormick Ranch Railroad Park. Here are some of the adults going for a train ride. The rest of the kids were in the caboose. It was so good to see everyone.

The boys loved seeing all of their cousins. Here's Brody, Devin, Rosie and Robyn at the top of the stagecoach.

Jackie was so wonderful with Wyatt. He was very happy to have his cousin hanging out with him. Fun times!

Here's Mimi and Craig with the boys. They all had the best time playing kickball together. What an amazing day! Thanks for coming everyone! xoxo

Trick or Treat...Smell My Feet...Give Me Something Good to Eat!

I think this year was a record for the boys being dressed and ready to trick or treat (notice it's not even dark yet). Here they are waiting for their first trick or treaters to come. They loved giving candy out as much as they liked getting candy from our neighbors. By the way, my boys LOVE blow ups...so we have them for every holiday. Fun, fun, fun!
Here they are by our newest blow up cat that Mama (my mom) bought them this year.

Here's Mimi with my boys and their cousin Devin who is here visiting from CA. They had so much fun together!

We had on Halloween music and the boys were totally getting their groove on.

We told the boys to make a silly face and this is what we got. Gotta love it! We had a wonderful Halloween!

I thought the hat this guy was wearing was so funny!

I loved this lady's outfit too! These seniors were a crack up!

Here's his class getting ready to sing their Halloween songs for the audience.

We all had such a great time!

Preschool Halloween Party!

On Friday Jerry, Wyatt, and I went to Brody's Halloween Party at preschool. It was so much fun! They decorated cupcakes, made a spider in the craft room, played Bingo, and went on two field trips.

Here's Brody with his best friend Patrick. Brody is Snake Eyes and Patrick is Duke from GI Joe. Go Joe!!!

Here's Brody with a "Grandma" at the assisted living center his class visited. Many of the seniors living there have Alzheimer's. Look how happy this sweet lady is to see Brody. The kids made Halloween cards to give them and even included a sucker for them to eat. Precious.

Wy Wy was so funny. He would go right up to the "Grandma's" and "Grandpa's" give them a hug and say "Happy Halloween". This lady held on to him soooo tight. It made me wonder how long it's been since she's squeezed a squishy little one. It seriously made me so happy to be there.

Next, we went to a senior community center to parade the kiddos around in their costumes and deliver more Halloween cards. I loved the way this sweet lady looked at Brody. They were all so happy to see the kids!
