Wyatt's First Day of Preschool!

Today was Wyatt's first day of preschool.  He's totally ready to go back to Happy Apple and see his friends and teachers.  Here are some pictures of him at Meet the Teacher (from last week) and this morning on his first day.

This will be Wyatt's last year at Happy Apple.  Next year he'll start kindergarten!

This is Ms. Debbie!  Wy loves her!  I taught Ms. Debbie's daughter Katie years ago.  She's in college now!

This is Ms. Lindy!  She is the owner and teaches the MWF classes with Ms. Debbie.  We love her!

Wy wanted to check on all of the farm animals...pig, ducks, chickens, goats, etc.  They were looking for food!

Brody and the Bus!

Today was a BIG day for Brody...he got to take the bus to and from school!  He's always begged us to let him ride the bus, but we always thought he was too young.  Well, after waiting in the parent pick up line for 45 min. everyday last week I reconsidered the option.  After fully investigating the bus situation on Friday and seeing that many of our neighborhood friends take the bus with him, we decided to give it a try.  Taking the bus was the first thing he thought about this morning.  Boy was he moving along this morning eating, getting dressed, brushing teeth, etc.  He didn't want to be late!

We're glad his bus only makes 1 other stop and has air conditioning.  Good luck Brodes!

Brody is in 1st Grade!

Brody had his first day in 1st grade today!  He said it was "GREAT"!  He couldn't believe he was at school for 7 hours!  He came into our house after I'd picked him up and he just laid down on our tile.  He looked exhausted and hot!  Then, he said "I'm starving"!  He's looking forward to a fantastic year with his teacher Mrs. Wagner!

We parked and walked so I could make sure he got in the right 1st grade line.  Wy was still half asleep!

Brody is now in school all day (8-3)!

Wyatt- 3 stitches

This afternoon Wyatt ran into the sofa table busting open the area above his eye.  We took him to Mendy's Place (love them) and he got three stitches.  He was a very brave little boy!

Poor guy!

The x-ray didn't show any fractures...thank you God!

Water Day!

This morning we had the BEST time outside enjoying water day!  The boys had their good friend Eric over to play too!  They played on the water slide, had a water balloon fight, and ended up dumping water on each other (and me) with big bowls!  So much fun!

We love having our neighbor Eric over to play!  He said it was "the most funnest water day EVER"! Woo hoo, I like the sound of that!

Brody + Trixie

After we tucked the boys in bed last night I hear "Mommmm!".  Brody said he wanted a picture of him and Trixie snuggling in bed.  She loves sleeping with him!  Of course Wyatt needed his picture too with his puppy Barkers!  These boys love dogs...especially our Trixie!

Children's Museum

On Friday we spent the day with our good friends at the Children's Museum downtown.  The kids all had so much fun!  If you haven't been with your kids you have to go.  FYI- The library has culture passes that give you two free admissions.  Fun times!

WWE Wrestling!!!

My boys are so into wrestling right now!  Last night they performed over 20 different wrestling guy entrances/moves along with their rocking music.  It was awesome!  My mom and dad LOVED it!  For Brody's kindergarten graduation gift, Jerry took him to WWE Smackdown!  He was in awe!  Here are some pictures of the event along with their new WWE bedroom.

Quite often I find Brody laying in his room just looking at all of the cool posters.  It's so cute!  He's excited to show his new room to everyone.

Open Gym

The boys having been taking tumbling/trampoline classes all summer.  They love it!  We've been able to meet our friends there for "open gym" time too!  Fun times!
