Tri for the Cure 2012!

Today I participated in the Tri for the Cure (Phoenix Affiliate of Susan G. Komen).  I had a great day with friends and even beat my old time by 5 minutes!  The Tri consisted of a 400 meter swim, 8 mile bike, and a 2 mile run!  It took me 1 hour and 5 min. to do the whole thing!  Woo hoo!  A BIG thank you goes out to all of you who were able to donate to this great cause!  I appreciate all of your support and prayers!

The swimming portion was the hardest part for me.

I was so happy that Jerry and the boys were there to support me today!  They were so cute!  Wyatt LOVED my medal!

Brody's Field Day!

Brody had field day at school today!  Wyatt and I had fun watching Brody play games with his friends.  Brody's favorite game was called "the leaky cup".  Can you believe it was 82 degrees today!

Brody was selected to get soaked at the sponge toss game!  Here is Jenna throwing a soaking wet sponge at Brody.

Here's Brody's teacher teasing the kids "you can't get me", etc.  She hid behind Brody when the sponge went flying towards them.  She's so much fun!

Here's Brody's fave...the leaky cup!  I think he was shocked at how cold the water was.  If felt good on such a hot afternoon though.

Mother Goose

Mother Goose visited Wyatt's preschool today to share some of her nursery rhymes.  She sang songs with them and even showed them a few magic tricks!  The kids LOVED her!

Nap time

I just had to post this cute picture that I took yesterday.  Wyatt asked if he could lay down with Papa to take a nap and they were both out in minutes.  Trixie even got in on the napping.  Soooo cute!

 

Eric's Special Olympics

Yesterday our whole family gathered to cheer on Eric at the Special Olympics.  He was pumped and ready to run a mile, do the long jump, and be a part of the relay race.  He was so happy that we were all there!  He kept looking up into the stands and calling our names and waving.  He LOVED all of the attention!  Here are a few of the highlights.

BINGO Night!

We had so much fun at BINGO on Friday night!  Nobody won, but that didn't stop us from having a GREAT time together!  xoxo

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss & Aunt Susie!!!

Brody's class has been celebrating Read Across America all week at school.  Today they are celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday by wearing red and white.  I couldn't resist posting this picture of Brody with Dr. Seuss' hat!  
We hope Aunt Susie has a GREAT B-Day too!  I'm meeting my mom, dad, Susie, and Theresa for BINGO tonight!  Watch out for the Bazzell family in full effect!  Woo Hoo!
