Student of the Month!

Brody was selected by his teacher to be the April Student of the Month!!!  Brody was chosen for his good citizenship, academics, and for being a role model for other students.  We were so excited to attend the assembly and surprise him with this honor!  Tomorrow he gets to have "Pizza with the Principal"!!!  We're so proud of you Brody!!!!!

This school knows how to celebrate!  Lights off, strobe lights on, loud music, teachers dancing, kids cheering with pom poms, etc.!  Here's Brody running through the teacher tunnel!

BUGZ Play!

Last night was Brody's 1st grade BUGZ Play!  It was soooo cute!  He was very excited and a little nervous about his speaking part.  He was a praying mantis and here was his line "What we need is an even stronger smell, a more appealing scent, perhaps a flower on each lapel would make us more content".  He did a FANTASTIC job!  Today they are celebrating their hard work with a pizza party!

This is Brody's class.  He is wearing the green praying mantis costume under the y in the word play.  Some of his classmates were butterflies and stink bugs too.  Adorable!

Brody was lucky to have my mom, dad, sister Susie, her kids, and Mimi at the play.  Theresa, Eric, and Tatum would have been there too, but Tatum was in a talent show on the same night.  That's why I wasn't able to get pictures of some of our family.  After Brody's play they headed over to Tatum's school to watch her dance.

We're so proud of our little praying mantis!

Brody absolutely LOVES his teacher Mrs. Wagner.  She's worked so hard with the class to get them ready for this play.  We're going to miss her next year!

 

The Tooth Fairy!

Wyatt lost his first tooth last night!  We knew it was really loose and we were waiting for the moment when it finally came out!  All it took was eating some yummy chocolate cake for dessert at our friend Beth's house.  Wyatt was soooo excited for the Tooth Fairy to come last night!  When he woke up today he came running out of his room with the money she'd left. 

Wildlife World Zoo!

Wyatt's preschool class headed to the zoo yesterday!  He had so much fun seeing the animals and hanging out with his buddies.  His favorite part of the day was going on the Skyride!
