Blue Lightning Basketball!!!

Last night was Brody's last basketball game of the season. He did a great job hustling from one end of the court to the other. We're so proud of all the progress he's made this season. He loves his new trophy! We're so lucky that so many family members were able to come and cheer him on! Afterwards we went out for ice cream to celebrate!

WWE Money in the Bank!

Last weekend we went to see a wrestling show called WWE Money in the Bank! The boys LOVED it! We went to celebrate Brody's 8th birthday! We were so lucky that our great friends got seats in the same row!!! Our seats were in the 3rd row of the lower level! We could see EVERYTHING up close! Now Wyatt wants tickets to the WWE Royal Rumble for his birthday!

Garbage/Recycle Center

This week we headed to the Garbage/Recycle Transfer Station for a field trip with friends. The kids all were all amazed by the amount of trash and recycled materials there. We all learned something new and are even more motivated than ever to try to recycle as much as possible!

Karate Kid!

Wyatt has been taking karate classes all summer long. It has taken him a while to get used to his instructor. After the first class Wyatt said, "He's loud and he yells a lot!". He's so happy that his best friend Connor is in his class! They've learned a lot about stranger danger too. Next week he is going to be tested to see if he can move up a belt level. Good luck Wy Wy!

Happy 8th Birthday Brody!!!

We can't believe our Brody is turning 8 years old!!! We celebrated his birthday a week early because three of his cousins are heading to Massachusetts next week. This year he requested an all boy Sky Zone (indoor trampoline park) Party! It was so much fun! 12 of his good buddies were able to join us for a great time! Afterwards we headed over to Cold Stone Creamery for dessert! YUMMY! That night we had a family party at my mom's. For Brody's birthday dinner he chose honey ham, sweet potatoes, and a lemon cake for dessert. The cousins had so much fun swimming and then they ALL (7 of them) headed to my house for a sleepover. The following day we went to Wet-n-Wild Waterpark! WHEW! Fun times!
