Brody's Christmas Program!!!

Brody was a cute little elf for his Christmas Program today!  Soooo precious!

Brody did a fantastic job singing all of the Christmas songs!  I love the elf hat!  Such fun!

Here's the whole group.  Some kids were reindeer, jingle bells, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, lights, elves, and presents.  These teachers did a great job creating a play that included all of them!  Brody's favorite song was Feliz Navidad!

Electric Light Parade!

We had so much fun last night at the Electric Light Parade downtown.  Mama & Papa took their truck camper and we all had homemade chicken noodle soup and hot dogs for dinner before the parade began.  This event has been a family tradition for years!

All of the kids wanted the lighted swords to play with at the parade.  Here's Wy proud as peacock with his choice of sword.

I think Eric was the MOST excited for the parade.  Here he is wearing Papa's hat and waiting patiently for the parade to start.

These three had many sword fights!  Wy is the best at falling to the ground to play dead (totally dramatic).

My kids LOVE the blow ups!

The kids loved these miniature horses!

Best of all we got to see Santa in the bucket of the firetruck!

Elfy is back!

Elfy is back!  The boys were soooo excited to find Elfy on a shelf this morning.  He wrote them a little note and left them a present!  Brody and Wyatt were VERY excited!

Elfy brought them a cool Lego Advent Calendar!

Brody wanted me to ask Elfy if Trixie is going to get a present from Santa because she's part of the family too.

Brody couldn't wait to put together the lego guy behind door #1.  Only 24 more days until Christmas!!!!

Brody's Thanksgiving Program!!!

Here's my little "turkey" getting ready for his Thanksgiving Program at school today.  He did such an awesome job singing songs, participating in the play, and running in the Turkey Trot!

Here's what 7 kindergarten classes looks like.  Brody's in the front row on the left hand side (second blue shirt in from the end).  Some kids were pilgrims, Indians, turkeys, pilgrim preachers, and corn.  Brody's favorite part was singing "I'm a Little Indian".

After the program, we headed to his classroom to get ready for the Turkey Trot.  Here's Brody with his wonderful teacher (Mrs. Roberts).  He LOVES her!

Mama & Papa loved seeing Brody shake his tail feathers.

Here's Brody's girlfriend, Mackenzie.  Sooooo cute!

Grandpa got home from Laughlin just in time to see the program.  Yay!

Here's Brody running in his Turkey Trot!  He was fantastic!

Brody was signaling to my dad to wait a minute because he was finishing chewing his cookie.  After the trot, my mom, dad, Jerry, and the kids went to see Tangled.  They all LOVED it!  What a fun day!

Wyatt's Thanksgiving Program

Wyatt had his Thanksgiving Program at school yesterday.  It was seriously soooo cute!  Wyatt was a turkey!  He did an outstanding job of singing along and doing all of the movements to each song.  Afterwards we had a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast with all of the trimmings.  We are so fortunate that all of Wyatt's grandparents were able to attend.  We're ALL so proud of you Wy Wy!

Look at this cutie pie with his turkey baster!  They sang the "Twelve Day of Thanksgiving" and Wyatt was "10 turkey basters".  Precious!

There he is singing his little heart out!  His best buddy Connor is right next to him in the blue shirt.

Check out his turkey feathers (ha ha)!

Here he is doing the chicken dance!  Shake that booty Wy!

Wyatt loves his class and teachers.  He can't wait to go to school everyday!

Thanks for coming Grandpa!

Mama and Papa baked a turkey to bring for the feast!  YUMMY!

I was able to have another teacher watch my class so that I could attend.  I couldn't miss it!  Jerry had the day off and afterwards he took the kids to see Megamind  in 3D with Mama & Papa!  What an amazing day!

Thanks for coming Mimi!

This is what I found when I got home from work.  Poor guy skipped his nap to go to the movies and crashed out on the couch!  We love you Super Wy!

Happy Veterans Day!!!!

We had the BEST day today celebrating Veterans Day with my mom and dad!  We headed downtown for the Veterans Day Parade.  We are so thankful to the men and women who have served in the military to protect our freedoms.  We're especially proud of my dad who served in the Air Force from 1956-1960.  Many people stopped by today to shake his hand and thank him for his service.  Brody and Wyatt are so proud of Grandpa Eddie too who served in the Army.
