Laubmeier's

We got together with the Laubmeier side of the family on Monday for lunch at Macayo's.  We had the best time seeing our aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Afterwards we headed to Grandpa Eddie's house to play.  Fun times!

Cousin Connor, Brody, Cousin Devin, and Wyatt

Here's the whole gang!

Look's like it's green day today!

The boys loved going for a golf cart ride with Grandpa!

Here's Brody making sure his two inmates stay locked up!

Now this was something different...standing up in the back while riding.  They thought that was the coolest thing ever!

Baking Day!!!!

All of the kids in our family look forward to baking day all year long!  The cousins love to spend the whole day at my house baking cookies, playing, and of course eating goodies.  Yesterday my mom, sisters, and my nieces/nephews came over for our yearly "baking day".  We had such a great time!!!
Brody loved making sugar cookies!

Amanda was a huge help!  She hung in there and baked all day long!  She's taller than me now!

Natalie was such a great helper with Wyatt.  She's just so patient and sweet with him.

Brody was so proud of his accomplishment!

Wyatt really took his time and did a fantastic job!

Here is Brody as the king and Tatum as the queen.  Natalie and Amanda were their servants.  They loved being waited on.  How cute are they????!!!!

We couldn't leave out the puppies!  Angel (Theresa's dog) is on the left, Trixie (our dog and Angel's sister) is in the middle, and Belle (Susie's dog) is on the right.  Aren't they precious??!!

At the end of the night, I realized I hadn't gotten a picture of all the kids together.  Here it is...all 7 grandchildren.  We're so blessed to all be so close to each other.  xoxoxoxo

Wyatt's Christmas Party/ Bass Pro Shop

I took the day off of work on Wednesday to go to Wyatt's Christmas party (Jerry had the day off too).  Santa visited his class, they had a book exchange, and made cute gingerbread houses.  It was so nice to take him to school, see where his cubby is, watch him play and interact with his friends, etc.  Afterwards, we picked Brody up from school and headed out to Bass Pro Shop.  They have so many fun and FREE activities for the kids.  Both of the kids LOVED the snowball fight we had there!!!
Wyatt asked Santa for a lego set.

This is the book he got from his book exchange.  We read it last night before bed.  The boys LOVE all of the silly things she eats!

Here's Wyatt with his best buddy Connor.  They were so proud of their gingerbread houses!  I think most of Wyatt's candy ended up in his tummy!!!

The boys couldn't wait to get their hands on these remote control monster trucks.  There was hardly anyone there because we went on a Wednesday morning.  No lines!!!  Woo hoo!

Notice Santa in the background with no kids.  The place was dead.  Awww yay!

The boys both love shooting at targets.

Wy looks so serious and focused.

This catfish was HUGE!

Game on!  Here's the snowball fight!

The boys could have stayed and had snowball fights all day long!

We loved Santa's set up.  Isn't it beautiful?

Both boys asked for lego sets.
Jerry and I got in on the fun and challenged the boys to a snowball fight!  We all had a BLAST!  These are the days we live for!

We LOVE Sedona!!!!

We had the best weekend in Sedona!  We went hiking at Sedona State Park, went to the "Red Rock Fantasy of Lights", and on went our first "Pink Jeep" tour.  The boys said their favorite part of the trip was going on the jeep ride.  They also couldn't believe that Elfy followed us to our hotel!!!

Wyatt wanted his picture taken of him being a tree.

On our hike we saw a sign that warned us of poison ivy ahead.  Here are the boys with their hands on their heads.  They didn't want to get poison ivy.  They've seen what the character "Poison Ivy" does to good guys on Batman.

The boys love their Mimi soooo much!!!!

Here's Brody's favorite light display!

Both boys asked Santa for lego sets for Christmas.  Brody wanted to know if this was the "real" Santa or Santa's helper.

Wy's favorite display: "To infinity and beyond"!

It was amazing at how close this jeep got to the edge of the road.  The boys loved the thrill of it!

They had Wy strapped into a car seat.  Thank goodness because it was very bumpy!  He fell asleep on the way back.  He was really relaxed after the jacuzzi dip, fresh air, and bumpy ride.

Another amazing trip!  The weather couldn't have been better (about 70 degrees)!  Love it!

Brody's Christmas Program!!!

Brody was a cute little elf for his Christmas Program today!  Soooo precious!

Brody did a fantastic job singing all of the Christmas songs!  I love the elf hat!  Such fun!

Here's the whole group.  Some kids were reindeer, jingle bells, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, lights, elves, and presents.  These teachers did a great job creating a play that included all of them!  Brody's favorite song was Feliz Navidad!

Electric Light Parade!

We had so much fun last night at the Electric Light Parade downtown.  Mama & Papa took their truck camper and we all had homemade chicken noodle soup and hot dogs for dinner before the parade began.  This event has been a family tradition for years!

All of the kids wanted the lighted swords to play with at the parade.  Here's Wy proud as peacock with his choice of sword.

I think Eric was the MOST excited for the parade.  Here he is wearing Papa's hat and waiting patiently for the parade to start.

These three had many sword fights!  Wy is the best at falling to the ground to play dead (totally dramatic).

My kids LOVE the blow ups!

The kids loved these miniature horses!

Best of all we got to see Santa in the bucket of the firetruck!

Elfy is back!

Elfy is back!  The boys were soooo excited to find Elfy on a shelf this morning.  He wrote them a little note and left them a present!  Brody and Wyatt were VERY excited!

Elfy brought them a cool Lego Advent Calendar!

Brody wanted me to ask Elfy if Trixie is going to get a present from Santa because she's part of the family too.

Brody couldn't wait to put together the lego guy behind door #1.  Only 24 more days until Christmas!!!!
