Mexico!!! Oct. 2013 :)

We spent Columbus Day weekend in Rocky Point with our BFFs (The Halley's)!  Brody has been asking to go deep sea fishing for a long time, so we thought we'd make it happen on this trip.  It was so worth the money!  Brody said it was so exciting because the fish were biting and it felt like he was catching fish after fish!  They mostly caught trigger fish, but they did some catch rock bass too.  The trigger fish were much bigger than what we're used to catching at the lake up north.  Wyatt wanted to go horseback riding on the beach!  Him and I went on a ride up and down the beach.  It was awesome!  My treat was a massage on the beach!  I loved it!  Another trip full of wonderful memories and adventures!

We can't wait to go back to Rocky Point!!!  It is the most relaxing, cost effective, and fun trip for us!!!  It's only 3 1/2 hours from our house!

Happy 69th B-Day Mom!!

Over the weekend we celebrated my mom's 69th birthday!  We went to church, ate lunch at Macayo's, went bowling, and then headed back to my mom and dad's house for swimming and dessert!  We're all so blessed to have my mom in our lives.  We love you!!!  xoxo

Brody's Skateboarding Room

Over the past two weeks we've been working on redoing Brody's bedroom.  He really wanted a skateboarding room, so we let him pick out his bedding set, paint, and wall decor.  So far so good.  We're still not quite finished...we need a few more things for the walls.  He LOVES it!

Munds Park :)

Last weekend we headed up north to Munds Park!  Our wonderful friends let us stay at their place.  We had so much fun taking Jerry's new toy on all of the OHV trails there.  The weather was in the 70's...a nice change of temp for us.  The kids loved being out in nature and weren't ready to leave on Monday.  We can't wait to head back up north again!

Our close friends the Halley's joined us for some fun!  Here are the dads and big boys headed out for a ride.

Check out Jerry's new toy!!!  He picked it up today!  He's been saving up his money for 10 years to get this baby!  We had so much fun driving it around the neighborhood today!  We can wait to take it up north for a ride this weekend!!!  Woo hoo!!!

First day of school!!!

Yesterday the boys and I started back to school!  Brody is in 3rd grade and Wyatt is in 1st grade.  They both have AMAZING teachers!!!  I'll be teaching 3rd grade this year!  We're all looking forward to a great 2013-2014 school year!!!
