Papa's interview with Brody :)

Brody had an assignment this week to interview someone and identify whether that persons job provided a good or a service.  Brody wanted to interview my dad (his papa).  Brody has always looked up to my dad for so many reasons.  He's also asked him to be his sponsor for his upcoming first communion and confirmation.

My dad was brick layer for 40 years!!!

A mini papa!  Cute!

Brody's Wax Museum!

The entire 3rd grade at Brody's school took part in a Wax Museum last week.  It was so AMAZING!!!  Brody wanted to be Tony Hawk so he researched him and wrote a speech to recite during the museum night.  All of the kids went above and beyond with their characters!!!  Way to go third grade!!!

Cool Tony Hawk speech Brodes!

This is Brody's friend Kenzie as Shirley Temple.  OMG...she sang "On the good ship, lollipop"!  She made a boat out of a wagon!

This is Brody's friend Addi he's known since preschool.  I loved her Michelle Obama speech!!!  :)

This kid had a clever idea for being a tall Abe Lincoln...isn't that awesome?!!!

Grandma and Papa listening to a Teddy Roosevelt speech.

Brody's friend Aiden as Neil Armstrong!!!

Brody's buddy Tyler as Stan Lee!

So many cool speeches!  Loved it!  :)

Wyatt's starts at Vistancia!

Shortly after winter break, we decided for Wyatt to transfer to my school.  He has loved every minute with his new teacher and class.  He was even selected to be the "Star Student"!  It's so nice to be able to be with him before and after school.  I even pop in to see him in the lunchroom once and awhile. Yay! xoxo

Cutest little 1st grader I've ever seen!!!

Wyatt LOVES his teacher Mrs. Foote!  :)

All About Wyatt!

Wyatt's classmates are super sweet! :)

Wyatt's 7th B-Day!

Last weekend we celebrated Wyatt's 7th birthday!!!  He wanted his family party at Great Skate!!!  We all had a fantastic time skating and dancing!  Afterwards, we went to Grandma and Papa's for dinner.  Instead of having a big birthday party with friends this year, he wants to go to the Renaissance Festival with his best friend Connor!  He wants to see the knights "Joust to the Death"!  We'll be looking forward to going in February...I will post pictures of that fun day too!

Cute cousins pic!!!

He barely needed his "skate mate" this time!!!

I can't believe my little boy is 7!!!

Instead of a cake, Wyatt requested my homemade brownies for dessert!  :)

Jerry, Brody, and I got this cute stuffed dog called a Stuffie for Wy.  We hid money in all of the secret pockets.  Wyatt LOVED finding all of the money!!!!

Wyatt asked for money for his birthday!  This boy LOVES money...cha ching!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Wyatt and I celebrated Happy Noon Year's Eve at his friend Waylon's house yesterday!  The kids loved the balloons being released onto them at noon!  They had a toast to the new year with cookies and milk.  So much fun!
Later that night we had my sister Theresa and her kids Eric and Tatum over for dinner and the countdown (Grandma, Papa, and Susie were at a church dance)!  We had fun playing cards, watching movies, and banging pots and pans at midnight!

Balloons were everywhere!!!

Cheers buddy!!!

Happy New Year!

Sparklers ROCK!!!
