MEXICO!!!!!

Rocky Point...here we come!!!!  Even though the timing with us moving wasn't great, we'd already scheduled our Oct. trip to Mexico months ahead of time.  So, we went anyways and had the time of our lives!  The Halley family joined us and we LOVED every minute of our trip!  The weather was gorgeous and it seemed like 3 nights wasn't enough!  The dads took all of the boys deep sea fishing...everyone caught something!  Sandi and I hung out at the beach and enjoyed massages...so needed.  We're thankful for another fun filled terrific time!

Every time we go to Rocky Point there is always some kind of new adventure.  On this trip, we were AMAZED by all of the minnow like fish swarming around our feet at night.  It was the weirdest feeling.  You could feel them darting around and hitting your legs!  Here are the boys getting ready to try to catch them!

Looks like we've got the beach to ourselves!!!  This was Sunday afternoon and most people had checked out.  We decided to take Monday off and stay an extra night!  Yippee!  Behind us is the Sonoran Spa where we rented a condo.

It was a great day for deep sea fishing!!!  Everyone caught a fish!  The boys did get a little seasick though.  I hope they don't take after me and my motion sickness!  :)

Our house SOLD in one week!!!

We couldn't believe how fast our house sold!!!  We had to be out by Oct. 30th.  We've been so busy packing, cleaning, and getting paperwork situated.  We'll be living with my mom and dad until our new house is built (sometime in March).  We're all settled in at my mom and dad's now.  Here are a few pictures from the move and the boys savoring the last  night in our old house.  We still went trick or treating in our neighborhood this year!  We're going to miss our wonderful neighbors!

Brody said he is really going to miss his room!  I even saw him kiss his wall!  The family that is moving in has two little boys.  The older one is in 3rd grade and loves skateboarding like Brody!  We left all of the sticker skateboards for him.  The little brother is in 1st grade.  So glad a nice family will be moving in.  :)

We're especially going to miss our beautiful BBQ that my dad built us.  He told us not to worry, he'll build us an AMAZING BBQ at the new house...too sweet.

We've spent 13 wonderful years at this house!  The first house Jerry and I ever owned, where we brought our babies home when they were born, and where we have so many loving memories.  We're ready for the new chapter in our lives to begin! xo

Our house is up for sale!

Look what we came home to last night!  Our sign is up...makes moving feel very real!  We're sad to leave our wonderful neighbors, but excited about our new house that will be built!

Wyatt- King of the Jungle!!!

This week Wyatt was "King of the Jungle" for his class!  His teacher said he was chosen because of his hard work and excellent behavior in class!  We're so proud of you Wyatt!  Keep it up buddy!

Each day of the week Wyatt was special for Wyatt.  He go to bring in show-n-tell items, books to read, and treats.

Yesterday he read a book to the class and did an GREAT job!

It's been wonderful having the boys at my school so I can pop in for fun events like this!

Happy 70th Birthday Mom!

Last weekend we celebrated my mom's 70th birthday (again)!  We had a wonderful family day filled with laughs, swimming, good food, and of course some card playing.  We love you mom!

Happy 70th Birthday Grandma!!!

We spent Labor Day weekend celebrating my mom's 70th birthday in Oceanside, California.  Instead of having a BIG party, my mom wanted to head to the beach with all of her kids and grandkids!  We had so much fun riding waves, making sand castles, and chillin on the beach!  We're so fortunate to have such an AMAZING mom and grandma for our kids!  She keeps all of our family traditions going and is always there for us when we need her.  We're blessed to be a part of this family!  xoxo

First Day of School! :)

Today was our first day of school!!!  Wyatt is in 2nd grade and Brody is in 4th!  I'm teaching 3rd grade again and have both boys at my school!  Looking forward to a GREAT year!
