Camping July 2010

We had the best time camping up north at Woods Canyon Lake.  The weather was great and we all had so much fun!  The boys just love nature!  Mimi and Jerry's sister Tammy along with her family joined us.  The boys made wonderful memories that they will treasure during this special trip!

Here's Wy Wy trying to catch a big trout!  He got a kick out of casting his line out and reeling it back in over and over again.  I thought he looked so cute using the tackle box as a seat.

Here's Brody hiking in the meadow.  Now this kid loves an adventure.  He was determined to find some crawdads in the stream. 

Bike rides around the camp ground was one of Wy's favorite things to do.

Hiking was one of Brody's faves. He loved hanging out in the little rock forts up in the mountains. He also liked using Mimi's walking stick.

Everyone LOVED going on golf cart rides to the store and to the toilet up the hill that doesn't smell!

Awww...look at these cute boys passed out in our tent. They didn't make it even half way through the movie. Sooooo adorable!

This little crawdad let everyone hold him. The boys were thrilled that he didn't pinch them.

I love this one of Brody sitting on the tree stump fishing. The lake is so beautiful. I miss it already!

Tonto Fish Hatchery

After three days of trying to catch a fish at Woods Canyon Lake we decided to head to a fish hatchery. The boys were all so excited to catch their own fish. Here's Wy proud as a peacock!

Brody caught two and then we cut him off. The fish were about $8.00 each! They could have pulled those fish in all day long. Such a fun way to end our trip!

Happy 6th Birthday Brody!

We celebrated Brody's 6th birthday at Pump it Up! It had two arenas filled with inflatable slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses, etc. The kids all had soooo much fun! Here's Brody cruising down the big slide!

This is it...this is the whole reason that he wanted to have his party at Pump it Up, the big blow up chair. He couldn't wait to hop into this baby!

He wanted an Indiana Jones theme this year. Thank goodness I was able to find a cake. He LOVED it! Happy 6th Birthday Brodes! xoxo

This XBOX Harry Potter game was one of his favorite gifts this year. After the party we headed over to Macayo's to eat. He fell asleep there on Mimi's lap. When we got home he woke up and immediately wanted to play his game. When I went to bed him and Jerry were still playing!!!

Happy 6th Birthday Brody!!!!!

I can't believe my baby Brody is 6 years old today!!!! He loved having his pick for breakfast, lunch and dinner today. We started off the day by going to a play called Jack and the Beanstalk...so funny! We were so lucky that my mom, dad, Tatum, and Eric were able to join us. Then we were off to Chuck E Cheese. The picture below is of him playing his FAVORITE game! He can pump tokens into this baby like no tomorrow. He wanted enough tickets to get a magic bag (1,000 tickets). He was soooo excited to try his first magic trick!

We had my family over for dinner tonight. The kids always have so much fun together!

Brody loves anything Indiana Jones right now. So Jerry and I got him the glowing crystal skull and an Indiana Jones whip (like Papa's).

This Indiana Jones Temple of Doom lego set has been on his wish list forever! He was ecstatic to get it tonight from mama/papa, the Ferullo's, and the Robinette's. Brody and Jerry are supposed to start assembling it first thing tomorrow. We're celebrating his birthday with friends tomorrow at Pump it Up! He can't wait to sit in the big blow up king's chair.
