Rainy Day

It's been raining all day long!!! The boys and I ventured outside earlier today to splash in the puddles. Take a look at my yard. It's way worse now and looks like a pool!
The boys loved running through the puddles on the side of our house.

This one is funny of Brody dumping water out of his boot. Afterwards we headed inside to dry off and have some hot chocolate. Yummy!

I can't believe my baby is going to be 3 years old tomorrow!!!! Last night we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate with my mom and dad. The boys had a blast and Wyatt was sooooo happy that Chuck E made an appearance! Here he is proud as can be to model his birthday crown. He loves his new Chuck E Cheese basketball too!!! Thanks Mama & Papa!

Brody was ecstatic to get this HUGE spider with his tickets from Chuck E Cheese! Kind of creepy if you ask me!

Cousins

We were so lucky to have my sister Susie's kids spend the night on Sunday. Susie had to work Monday and all of the kids were off of school for MLK Day, so they got to spend all day hanging out with us. We had fun making blue pancakes, doing hair/nails, visiting three neighborhood parks on the golf cart, watching movies, and baking cookies. Here are Brody and Nick posing for a quick picture while playing the XBOX. They both LOVE video games!!! These two get along soooo well.

Wyatt and Amanda wanted to get messy with shaving cream art. So much fun!!!

Here's Natalie working on a large banner. She made one for her mom and one for her dad. Her and Amanda worked for two hours on their large banners. So creative!!!

Snow Day!!!

Today was "snow day" at Brody's preschool!!! He had so much fun and said his favorite part was making huge snowballs (like the one in this picture of him). Wyatt said his favorite part was throwing snowballs at mommy (see him below chasing me down).

Here's Brody being silly with his best friend Patrick. Fun times!

Lowe's projects

Today we had such a lazy day...I loved it! We stayed in our jammies all day long and just hung out.

The boys have been going to Lowe's and doing woodworking projects for a long time. After completing each project they get a badge for their apron. Today we decided to get out all of their past projects and play with them. Here they are like proud little peacocks! Gotta love Lowe's!

Tooth Fairy!!!

Sunday, January 3, 2010

Guess who's coming to our house tonight???

Yep, the tooth fairy!!! Brody said that he wants to spend the money he gets on Star Wars stuff. He's so excited! I loved this little note that I found beside his bed. He put his tooth inside this baby food jar to keep it safe. Awww!

Brody lost his first tooth today!!!!!

Oh wow...there is sooooo much excitement in this house right now! Brody has had a loose tooth for the past few weeks. He's been waiting and waiting for it to come out. Finally today while we were taking down decorations in the front yard and it happened. Brody said "Oh my gosh...it came out!" He was thrilled! Right away we came in and took some pictures and video. Then he ran outside to show all of the neighbors.

Happy New Year!!!!

Sledding in Flagstaff!!!

My mom, dad, sisters, and their kids all headed to Flagstaff, AZ to celebrate the new year. We spent the night at a hotel, went swimming in the indoor pool, went sledding, and just enjoyed each others company. It was the perfect day for sledding...warm and sunny, but plenty of snow!!!

My mom and dad had the best time watching the kids sled down the big hills. I'm so bummed I didn't get a group picture of the whole gang with my camera. Thank goodness Aunt Theresa took one!

Brody loves to sled, but he also LOVES to make snow angels, build snowmen, have snowball fights, climb up the snowy banks, etc.

Woo hoo!!!!!!

Go Brodes!!!!

I loved this one of Brody pulling Wy on the sled.
