Tea at the White House- Walt Disney

Yesterday we attended "Tea and the White House" for all of second grade.  Each student in Wyatt's class had to choose a famous person to research.  Wyatt chose Walt Disney.  We read a biography about Walt and Wyatt studied interview questions to answer.  The whole second grade started the program with several songs that related to America.  Afterwards, the kids lined up with their classes and were interviewed by the parents there.  Wyatt did such an amazing job!  He even got to introduce one of their songs!  Way to go Walt!!!

Wyatt's First Reconciliation :)

On Thursday, Feb. 19th, Wyatt experienced his First Reconciliation at our church.  He had been preparing for weeks for this sacrament.  He had the Rite of Reconciliation and the Act of Contrition memorized.  We attended classes at church and played many religious games to help prepare him.  He was so nervous as he waited to be called to the back of the church to meet with the priest.  He said that the priest was nice like Papa and he told him to remember to say his prayers before bed.  We're so proud of you Wyatt!!!  xoxo
God Bless You Wyatt!  :)

Grandma and Papa are so proud of you Wyatt!  xoxo

Our new house...

Our new house is moving along pretty quickly now.  We go by and check out the new additions every week.  We can't wait for it to be finished (in April)!  Woo Hoo!!

Windows are in...it's coming together!  :)

PITBBULL!!!!!!!

Last Friday night my sister Theresa calls me and asks me to go with her to see Pitbull!!!  I quickly got out of mommy mode (contacts were out, my hair was in a pony tail, and yoga pants on), got ready, and zipped over to her house.  One of her best friends was given four FREE tickets to Pitbull's private concert (300 people).  After pulling up to the club in Theresa's mini van with a HUGE red stop sign on the side that says "I Sell Girl Scout Cookies" we headed in.  Pitbull had just started singing my favorite song by him "Don't Stop the Party"!  We couldn't believe how close we were to him (about 4 rows back).  Theresa's friend Robin who got us the tickets was in the 1st row!  She yelled out that she was his biggest fan and he went over and kissed her hand!  I got it all on video with my phone!  We had the BEST night ever!!!!
Pitbull was AWESOME!!!

Not a very clear picture, but the only one we have of us together!
