Happy 62nd B-Day Mimi!!!

Today we celebrated Mimi's birthday!  We ate at her favorite restaurant (CPK) and then headed to the Desert Botanical Gardens.  She's been wanting to take the boys to see the "Monarch Butterfly Exhibit".  They were also celebrating "Dia De Los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) today.  The boys were fascinated with the cool art work, dancing, decorating sugar skulls, etc.  Happy B-Day Mimi!
They had HUGE bugs on display throughout the garden.  AWESOME!

This butterfly wanted a ride to freedom!

Cutie pies!

The boys decorated skulls that were made out of sugar with sequins and colored icing.

Look at this cool fellow!

This skull was talking to the boys.  It was asking them questions like "Do you keep your room clean?".  Their reaction was so funny!

Here is an example of some of the cool art work.  This piece was $2,500.!

The Laubmeier Halloween Party!

Last night we had so much fun hosting our annual Halloween Party!  The costumes were fantastic!  Brody and Wyatt loved the mummy wrap contest.  Afterwards they toilet papered our swing set!  CRAZY kids!  We hope that everyone had a great time!
Here are the WWE wrestlers!!!  Brody and Wyatt both wanted to be Jeff Hardy and Eric is John Cena!

Natalie going over directions for the cupcake walk...she's a natural teacher!

Jadyn wrapped up Lily like a winter mummy!

Brody, Wyatt, and Nolan dressed up Eric like a Rey Mysterio (WWE wrestler) mummy!

Presley, Kay Kay, and Katie dressed up Ava like a Hawaiian mummy.

Nick, Alex, Lance, and Easton dressed up Christian like an army guy mummy.

After the mummy wrap contest, the kids toilet papered the swing set.  Crazy group shot!

Wacky Day!

Brody's school is celebrating Red Ribbon Week at school with spirit week.  Each day he's dressed up and today was his all time favorite!  He was actually jumping up and down saying this was "the best day of my life"!  He's so funny!
Anything goes for Wacky Day...backwards shirt, pj bottoms, different colored socks, nasty teeth, and his favorite was wacky hair!

I love this crazy boy!

Wyatt's Harvest Day!

Yesterday Wyatt's preschool class had a Harvest Day!  His teacher planned some really cute centers for them to rotate through.  They got to go on a hayride to a pumpkin patch, jump in the bouncy house, get their faces painted, make a spooky popcorn hand, and a decorate a fall frame.  FUN TIMES!
Game on in the bounce house!

Wyatt with his buddies Connor and Christopher (Brody went to preschool with their older brothers).

Wy got a lightning bolt on his face!

Spooky, yet yummy!

Hayrides rock!

I want this one!

My sweet boy!

50's Day!

This week Brody's class celebrated the 50th day of school with a 50's Day party!  It was so much fun!  His teacher had many different centers all related to things that were popular in the 50's.  The kids enjoyed root beer floats, hula hoops, play-doh, musical chairs, playing tic tac toe, Barbies, and putting together potato heads.
Who doesn't love musical chairs?!

Brody was so excited to win two times!!!  Yippee!

Of course I had to get into the spirit of the 50's too!

Play-doh glasses!

Go Brody, go Brody, go Brody!

Uncle Mike & Kelly's Wedding

Yesterday we went to a beautiful family wedding.  Jerry's Uncle Mike married a sweet woman named Kelly.  Here are some pictures from our lovely day.
Here's the happy couple getting ready to cut the cake.

The reception was in Fountain Hills...beautiful!

Mimi with her handsome boys!  We stayed the night at the hotel and hung out by the pool today!

Love the suit!

Strike a pose!

The boys loved seeing their Great Gram!!!

Mimi and Brody had fun dancing together!

Jerry and Wy had fun on the dance floor too!

We saw this cool bowl of fire in front of the hotel on the way back to our room.  The boys wanted to pretend they were a wrestler named Kane who has fire in his entrance to the ring.  AWESOME!

The Hardy Brothers!!!

Here are Brody and Wyatt dressed as one of their favorite wrestlers...Jeff Hardy!

The armbands were made using ladies knee highs.

Wyatt wants to be Jeff Hardy for Halloween.  We'll need to add color to the hair and paint his face.  Cool!

Let's Go D-Backs!!!!

We were so lucky to get FREE tickets from Jerry's work to go to the Diamondbacks game last week!  We didn't even take our seats until the 5th inning!  The boys were having too much fun batting/running bases in the kids area, playing on the playground, seeing Baxter the mascot, etc.  It was a very exciting game!
The boys loved this area where they could bat and run the bases.

The playground was AWESOME!

Black out game attire.

We met up with some really great friends there too!!!

The organ player was so friendly!

Both boys wanted to meet Baxter at his den.

Guess who else we ran into...Superman!
