Brody's 8th Grade Promotion May 2019

We're so proud of Brody!  He's promoting onto high school and finished the year with a 3.83 GPA!  He had fun at all of the promotional activities that were planned.  He received a Leadership Award as well as a Mathematics Award.  We can't wait to see what the future has in store for him.  He is a remarkable young man!  We'll always be your biggest fans!  Love you! xoxo

  

Wyatt Economics Day/Greek Day/Castles-n-Coasters

Wyatt has been busy in school with Greek Day, Economics Day, and Castles-n-Coasters!  He dressed up like a guy back in the Greek days, ate Greek food for lunch, and played Greek games.  On Economics Day he ran a Super Crane Claw Machine business with his friends!  He also enjoyed a day at Castles-n-Coaters with the rest of the band!  Fun times with friends!

Mother's Day 2019

We celebrated Mother's Day with Mimi on Sat. and went to church/lunch with my mom on actual Mother's Day.  The boys made me breakfast in bed, gave me a new hydro pack, and a foot massage!  My boys are my everything! ;)

Steel Drum trip to Disneyland!

We were so happy to hear that Vistancia's Steel Drum Band was invited to play on their Disney Performing Arts Stage in California Adventure!  What a wonderful experience for the kids and such an honor.  We were happy to be there to cheer them on and we enjoyed a few days at Disneyland!  Woot woot! :)

Brody's Pay it Forward Project

Brody's 8th grade S.S. teacher challenged every 8th grade student to "Pay it Forward" in some way.  Brody decided to start a Go Fund Me page and collect money to purchase stuffed animals for first responders to give to children who'd been in pain/traumatized.  He set a goal of $250 and was able to collect $330!  WOO HOO!  We went shopping and purchased a ton of Kohls stuffed animals which uses the proceeds for children's hospital programs! It was a WIN WIN for everyone.  It was awesome watching Brody deliver them to the Peoria Police Department. Well done Brody! :)
