Halloween costumes already???

Yep, my boys both already know what they want to be for Halloween. Brody is Snake Eyes from GI Joe. He LOVES the idea of being a ninja. Wyatt is Super Why from the TV show on PBS. If you have little ones you have to check it out. The main characters name on the show is Wyatt too! Cute!

A Hunting We Will Go!

We went to the Bass Pro Shop again this weekend. It's always Brody's #1 pick for something to go and do. The boys had fun shooting the paintball gun, bow and arrow, painting animal tracks, tasting fudge, and having unlimited game time at the shooting gallery. So much fun and all FREE!!!

How cute!!!

Look at little Mickey and Minnie!!! Aren't they just precious?! This is Wyatt's little girlfriend Gianna. He LOVES her so much! Thanks for the cute pictures Shannon!! Wyatt can't wait to meet the real Mickey and Minnie when we go to Disneyland in a few weeks.

Meet the Teacher/ First Day of School

Meet the Teacher- Here is Brody with his teacher Ms. Lindy. She LOVED the plant he brought her. He also brought one for Ms. Debbie and Computer Grandma. We're so lucky to have such an AMAZING preschool right around the corner. He's so happy that school has started!

Here's Brody taking Wy for an airplane ride!

Wee!

Here's my handsome boy this morning on his first day of school. He was soooo ready! I barely got a goodbye before he was off playing with his best buddy Patrick. After school I was full of questions about his day. He said his favorite parts were playing with Patrick and doing arts and crafts. We're ready for another fabulous year!

Big boy beds & potty training

Brody got a new twin bed for his birthday. Mimi went in on the mattress and Mama & Papa bought the cool dinosaur bedding. My sisters bought all of the dinomite decals for the wall. Brody absolutely LOVES his bedroom set.

Here's Wyatt's toddler bed that was handed down from Brody. He is SO proud of his big boy bed. He has to show his bed to EVERYONE that comes over. He's great about going to bed. Brush teeth, read a few books, kiss kiss, and then he's out.

Wyatt is suddenly such a BIG boy at only 2 1/2. No more high chair, diapers, or crib. He's very proud of his new skill...going pee pee on the potty like a big boy. YAY Wy Wy!

The Chocolate Factory

The boys and I met some friends at the Chocolate Factory today. They LOVED tasting all of the yummy samples. Here they are making their own chocolate pizza. They added nuts, marshmellows, mini mints, and M & M's. They tasted their delicious chocolate pizzas after dinner tonight. Brody said "this is the BEST pizza EVER"!

I had to include this one. This was right before we left the factory. They LOVE their new Spiderman sunglasses from their friend Gianna. Such brotherly love!

Last post for today

My mom especially loved this picture with the reflection of the trees on the lake. So pretty.

Here it is...Aunt Theresa's tent that we borrowed for the week. Perfect for our family. It fit two blow up mattresses and kept us warm and dry. Thanks Auntie!

Here we are getting ready to eat dinner. We all agreed that chicken kabobs was our favorite meal of the trip. We use my cousin Danny's secret ingredient. YUMMY!

Jerry cleaning the boys up after a long day. Tickle, tickle Wy Wy. We didn't shower while camping, but at least we could wash up each day.

Here the boys are watching a movie in our tent. In the evening the adults drank a few beers and played Yahtzee, Uno, and Rummy. Sweet! Such an amazing trip! We can't wait to go back again next year!!!!!

Brody's fort

This is Brody's fort. It's located behind our campsite and is one of Brody's favorite spots. He gave me a tour showing me the bedrooms, bathroom, campfire, etc.

Here the boys are pretending that they are hunters looking for bear, elk, mountain lions, etc.

Here are Mama & Papa with the boys. Such wonderful moments of making memories with them. We'll never forget this trip! Thanks for all you do!

I'm so blessed to have such a dedicated husband and two healthy boys. This is my life and I love it!

Golf cart rides were a BIG hit! We would take it to the store each day and also explore other fishing spots. Here's a picture of the gang by the lake. Wy is sound asleep.

My dad and I got up early each day to go on a bike ride. There is a cool trail along the Mogollon Rim that is breathtaking. We'd stop along the trail and sit on the boulders and just talk about life. I loved our little father/daughter time. My dad is 71 and is in GREAT shape! xoxo

Have you ever seen somebody fish for squirrels??? Well, here you go. Jerry and Wy put bread on the end of a line (no hook) and let the little guys tug it off. It was so funny to see them play tug-a-war with it.

Here are my ninja turtles!

Fishing off shore is fun too!

Brody picked up this little cutie pie while hangin' on the shore. She made him this delicious mud birthday cake with sticks for candles. How sweet!

Mama and Papa are the only ones who caught fish on our trip. Here's Wyatt feeling the slimey fish.

Brody has such a sweet heart. He wanted to let the nightcrawlers (our bait) loose. He felt bad for them. He said "it must hurt when the hook pokes through their side". Awww...he also wanted to return the crawdads quickly after catching them. He didn't want them die.

Here's Wy posing with his Spiderman pole. He got a kick out of casting it out and reeling it back in.

Playing in the mud by the shore was fun for all!

Hiking in the hail??? What???

So we were on this beautiful hike and suddenly it started sprinkling...no big deal. Kind of felt nice since we hadn't showered in days (ha ha). Then it hit! Hail started pounded us, so we found a HUGE tree to sit under until it passed. CRAZY! Sunny one minute and a hail storm the next. Brody's favorite part about the trip was exploring the forest area. He looked for animal tracks and guessed what kind of animal had left the droppings. He can't wait to go hunting with Jerry someday. The next picture is of us calling Mama & Papa on the walkie talkie telling them about the hail.

Here are my sweet boys!

Camping Trip!

We went on the most amazing camping trip with my mom and dad last week. It was our first time "tenting it" with the kids. They were troopers and can't wait to go again! Here are a few pictures of us fishing at Woods Canyon Lake. We camped within walking distance from the lake. The weather was gorgeous and we didn't want to come back to our HOT temperatures in the city.

Besides fishing for trout, the boys LOVED catching crawdads!

Here are my little pirates aboard their pirate ship! Yo ho ho!
