Water Day!!

Today was water day at Brody's school!  The kids all had so much fun on the water slide, playing sponge toss, getting squirted with the water hose from a fire truck, etc.  Afterwards we headed back to Brody's class for a picnic and otter pops.  What a fun way to end a fantastic school year!

I can't believe Brody will be in 2nd grade next year!

Brody's friend Allie has a dad who is a firefighter.  He offered to bring the firetruck and squirt the kids!  Sooo cool!

Oh yeah!  He's blasting them!  He also let them spray the hose!

The sponge toss is on!!!

What a fun water day!!!  Only two more days left of school!

 

Brody's Summer B-Day/Baby Shower/Talent Show!

Yesterday Brody celebrated his summer birthday at school.  He wanted to bring in donuts and milk for his class.  YUMMY!  Later that afternoon we had a baby shower for Brody's teacher.  The kids loved watching her open up gifts for baby Chloe.  She is going to be the BEST mom!  After the shower, they had a class talent show.  It was so fun!  Brody wanted to be a scientist and perform a few experiments.  The kids LOVED watching the volcano erupt!!!

I can't believe Brody will be 8 in July!!!  WOW!!!

Mrs. Wagner is the sweetest teacher!  We're really going to miss her!  She is taking a leave to stay home with baby Chloe.  Congratulations!

The class pitched in $$ and got Mrs. Wagner a few items off of her registry.  They each brought a book in to start baby Chloe's library too. 

Good luck Mrs. Wagner!  We can't wait to meet Chloe!!!

I just love my boy!  He's always so curious about things in nature.  It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he grows up to be a real scientist.  The kids LOVED watching the lava flow out of the volcano!  Great job Brodes!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Today I woke up to the boys beside my bed wishing me a Happy Mother's Day!  They made me a breakfast burrito that was out of this world!!!  We headed to church to meet our family for mass, went bowling, swimming, and then had a delicious steak dinner.  What a fantastic day!  I hope all of the mothers out there had a fabulous day too!!  I prayed for all of us to have the strength, wisdom, and patience we need to continue our wonderful journey of motherhood.

We're all so thankful for my mom who is such a BIG part of all of our lives.  We love you mom!!!

 

Wyatt's Graduation from Happy Apple Preschool!!

Today was Wyatt's graduation from Happy Apple Preschool!!!  We have been taking our boys to this preschool for 5 years!  We're going to miss all of his teachers soooo much!  The theme for the program was Beach Boys!  It was so adorable!  We can't believe that Wyatt is starting kindergarten in August!  Our baby is growing up!

These are the AMAZING preschool teachers who have taught Brody and Wyatt for the last 5 years!  We're so thankful for them!  We'll miss you!

Morning with Mom

Yesterday I spent the morning celebrating Mother's Day at Brody's school.  His teacher invited all of the moms to the classroom for breakfast, a few fun activities, and to watch a precious slide show the kids made.  Brody made me a #1 mom necklace to wear, wrote an adorable book about me, and he used his hands to paint a beautiful butterfly.  Yes, I did tear up when the slideshow played.  Brody said "I love my mom because she is the best mom in the world!".  Awe!  What a wonderful morning with my sweet boy!
