Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day with the best daddy's ever! The morning started off with breakfast at Coco's with Grandpa & Ronnie. Then we headed to their house to go swimming and had a blast! Next stop, home for nap. After naptime we went over to my mom and dad's for dinner and swimming. Sooo much fun!
Papa loved his recordable book that the boys gave him. So sweet!

Grandpa loved his book too! The boys made both of their granpa's a wooden race car and foam trophy too!

My Dad is AMAZING!

My dad was selected to be the "Father of the Year" at his Bingo club. My mom and dad joined this senior bingo club at their church a few years ago. Since then the members there have grown to love my mom and "Big Jim". They were so happy to honor my dad and of course we were all delighted. Susie and Theresa took off of work so we could all be there as they surprised him with this honor. My sisters and I had written a short but sweet tribute about my dad. The grandchildren all included quotes about their Papa as well. Brody said something about my dad being a soldier and playing army guys with him. Wyatt said he liked to play pirates and sword fight with Papa. They were all such sweet quotes. We ALL know how blessed we are to have such a strong yet gentle Dad/Papa. He's the rock of our family and is respected and loved by all.

My dad with his three girls! We love you daddy!!! We're so proud of you!

The very next day was my dad's 72nd birthday! We celebrated with dinner and dessert at my house. Here's a quick pic! We can't wait to get together on Sunday for Father's Day!

Cousins

Brody and Wyatt always get soooo excited when their cousins come over. Last week we were lucky enough to have them stay the night for two nights. We had a blast with water play, going to the movies, and just hanging out. Here's the gang in my backyard having some fun!

Wyatt loved spraying everyone with the hose!

Here the girls are getting ready for a water balloon fight!

Brody liked hanging out in his "tower" throwing water balloons at the girls.

Angel Sparkles

Don't these guys look like proud little peacocks?! We're dog sitting for my sister Theresa for the week. The boys were so excited to have her stay. I couldn't have imagined how much joy and entertainment little Angel has brought our family. We've had water play with her, taken her for walks/dog park, brushed her, fed her, etc. Brody didn't want to goto vacation bible school today because he didn't want her to be lonely and sad. She cries when we put her in her cage when we leave the house and the boys can barely stand it. Awww...looks like we may start looking for a pup of our own. I knew the day was coming!

Here she is sleeping with Wy during naptime today. You can barely see her amongst all of the stuffed puppies in his bed.

Brody NEVER naps, but today he woke up at 5:30am to take Angel out to go potty. She refuses to use our doggy door, so the boys are really good about taking her our to go wee wee. So here's Brody passed out in my bed as I type this. Sweet Angel is watching over him. I can't believe she can even jump up on my bed (it's really high and she's soooo little)!

The Farm

Over the weekend we went to pick fruit and veggies at a local farm. We had soooo much fun!

The boys both learned how to milk a cow.

Here's Wy looking for a bright red tomato. YUMMY!
Brody and Wyatt couldn't get enough of these baby ducks. Soooo precious!
