Happy Halloween!!!

The boys had the BEST time tonight trick-or-treating with their cousins!  Everyone got plenty of candy!

Mama and Papa held down the fort at our house while we went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood.

Happy Birthday Mimi!!!

To celebrate Mimi's birthday we went to the City of Peoria Halloween Monster Bash & Balloon Illumination.  The boys had so much fun playing carnival games, going on inflatable slides, holding cool animals (you'll see), watching the hot air balloons glow, making puppets, etc.  Brody decided to be an army guy at the last minute and Wyatt was red ninja.

We headed to Red Robin after the Monster Bash to eat.  Of course we had to sing Mimi the Happy Birthday song!!!  xoxo

Annual Halloween Party!



This year's Halloween Party was a success!  Everyone had a great time!  Here's Wy in his final decision to be a red ninja (first it was Batman, then Spiderman, then Ninja Turtle, etc.).  Who knows what he'll be when we go trick-or-treating next week!



Brody had no doubt that he wanted to be Venom from Spiderman.  He said he wants to be Indiana Jones for trick-or-treating.

Here are Natalie (a Snow Princess) and Tatum (Cheetah Girl).  They did a great job with the puppet show!



Jerry was Hagrid from Harry Potter and I was a go go girl!



Amanda was Dorthy from The Wizard of Oz.  Look how cute Toto is (really her puppy named Belle)!

Theresa (a mommy version of a Cheetah Girl), Eric (spooky guy), and Tatum all had a BLAST!  Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to the party!!!

Fire Safety Day!



Today we headed out to Fire Safety Day at a local park.  The boys loved getting into the firetrucks and ambulances.  Both boys have had Fire Safety days at their schools.  Brody wanted to know where our meeting place was in case of a fire.   



The boys were in awe of this firefighter.  Look at Brody's face.  Cute!



Challenger Space Center

Today the boys and I headed over to the Challenger Space Center for Family Day.  The boys got to dress up like astronauts, see constellations in the star planetarium, have story time with The Cat in the Hat, and they each got to pick out a geode to smash open from the gift shop.  Fun, fun, fun!!!

Brody wanted his picture taken in front of the space center.  Aren't they cute?!

The Dr. Seuss book they read during storytime was There's No Place Like Space:  All About Our Solar System.  The boys loved it!




This is the inflatable/portable star planetarium.  Cool huh?!



The boys kept coming back to this station.  They loved pretending that they were astronauts pushing and flipping all of these knobs and buttons.  Their fave for sure!
