My dad attends my schools Veteran's Day Celebration every year! The day starts with breakfast at 7:15 hosted by our NJHS. The boys and I love sitting with my dad and eating breakfast together. Then my entire school (approx. 1,100 kids) and the veterans head outside for a beautiful ceremony. The band plays, the choir sings, and each veteran gets up and shares his experiences in the military. After that, the whole school lines the hallways and gives the veterans a high five while thanking them for their service. It was quite a morning. The boys and I are always so happy to have my dad there!
