Pioneer Living Museum

Over the weekend we headed to the Pioneer Living Museum.  This is an outdoor museum that has many authentic pioneer buildings.  The boys loved the Civil War reenactment the most.  They were surprised to see the Yankees and the Rebels shooting real muskets at each other.  They even had a cool cannon!  BOOM!

These guys took us back in time.  Brody was making good connections to our countries history and a Magic Tree House book he had read about the Civil War.

They told the boys to not smile for this picture so they could look tough...you can see Brody is trying so hard.  Wyatt said forget it.

One of the volunteers asked which one of our boys is more of the rebel in the family...Wyatt.  We love our little stinker!  They boys liked wearing the replicas of the wool coats and hats that the soldiers wore.

This Victorian House was my fave!  The boys thought it was so fancy on the inside because it had velvet walls!
